Xander has been getting sicker again. I took him in today to see a doctor. I didn't get his new doctor but, while while we were waiting for him in the room, their new doctor came in! He said that he saw that we were in and just wanted to see how Xander was! I thought it was so nice of him!
Then, while we were waiting Xander spat up about 5 times all over. Savannah, took out all of the latux gloves out of the box and rolled up the paper on the waiting table twice. The doctor finaly came in and he said that their doctor had apparently filled him in on Xander. I like that they communicate with each other!
Xander has lost a little weight. He is 17.6 pounds. He has two ear infections. The doctor was going to give me a reffurell but, I have savannah's Otolaryngologists programed into my phone, plus ten other doctors. Scary, I know. Plus my Big brother, who I go to to ask silly doctor questions. I'm so lucky to have a doctor for a brother! He's the greatest! Anyway, Xander has his appointment with the Otolaryngologists on Wednesday! I can't wait! No more Xander being sick, and no more ear infections, and not as many sleepless nights!!!

Xander's Ear Infection # 3 & 4
How did I know that they would just keep coming back... Oh yeah, we went through the exact same thing with Savannah. She was almost always sick until she got her tubes. When Xander gets his next infection they will send him to Savannah's Ear, Nose, and Throat doctor for tubes. He has an ear infection in both ears and is still congested in his lungs, with a cough. They gave him a shot of antibiotics and put him on some oral ones, then tomorrow he's going to start some kind of steroid thing. They want to get his lungs to open up, and get cleaned out. I always know when Xander is in serious pain. That's when the pacifier doesn't even work. I hate seeing my kids get shots. I've been trying for a month to get Xander's flu shot and his six month shots, but he just keeps getting sick. It really worries me. Maybe next week. He's been sleeping on and off all day and not very much at night. He just looks so sad. He loves to cuddle with me though!

A sick baby and toddler for Thanksgiving
Xander and Savannah were getting sick last week with runny noses, congestion, and stuff. I thought about taking Xander in Friday but, kept thinking no, he'll get better. Savannah and Xander developed coughs over the weekend. Xander's has gotten really bad and sounds awful when he breathes. You can feel it in his lungs. He is so miserable. He woke up every couple hours last night because he couldn't breath, or his coughing would wake him up. I took both of them in to the doctors this morning and Xander has another ear infection and they are sending a nebulizer over for us to give him breathing treatments, and Savannah if she needs it. Savannah is being put on an antibiotic also. I'm suppose to watch Xander for RSV, and let them know how he is doing. I wish I would have taken him in on Friday. I feel so bad. It looks like we're staying home this week and maybe we'll have our own little family thanksgiving. We were planning on going over to my aunts for Thanksgiving. It might be kinda nice to just relax and have our own mini family thanksgiving. I hardly ever get to spend time with Court. When he's home he usually had to do homework. It will be good for us!
Today I'm thankful for the this time of year where I get to spend extra time with my family and loved ones.

Xander's Ear Infection
This morning I took Xander to the doctor because he has been so congested and has started getting a cough. And guess what, our little boy "who is never sick" has an ear infection. So, I'm over here thinking awesome, this is going to be just like Savannah's first winter where she had eight ear infections in three months, and finally had to get tubes. And then I start freaking out because I'm afraid that since he has an ear infection it might make his immune system is weaker and he will have even higher chances of getting a battler infection, that will damage his kidneys and so on... Flu seasons is starting and all of the other sickness and Xander has a greater chance of getting RSV and everything because he had phenomena when he was born. We are not going to bring Xander to church anymore for now. we'll probably just take turns going to sacrament and Court will stay home with him for the rest, because he doesn't have a calling for right now. I feel bad for being an over protective mother but with Xander we can't take any chances. If he gets sick he could die from it, so we have to be extra careful with him and we have to be over protective. When Savannah comes home from school or outside or church we'll put hand sanitizer on, and if she has a runny nose or anything we'll keep her home from church and school. It will be hard, but if there is any chance of it keeping Xander from getting sick or saving his life it's more than worth it.
