I can't believe my little baby is 3!!! I just want him to stay small forever! :( Luckily, he's about just as small as a one and a half year old :) His favorite thing is dinosaurs! Savannah, I think has been planning his Dino party since Christmas and was so excited to help me with everything! She is so funny! And, Xander got an awesome present, Grandma and Papa Jensen came for a visit!
Dinosaur Party Hats!
He got a little spoiled by his uncles!
Savannah was more than willing to help her little brother open all of his gifts. :)
Happy birthday my sweet Xander!!! You are such a joy and you make everyday an adventure! Life wouldn't be the same without you!

A Birthday Party and a Family Trip
Savannah went to her first non family birthday party! It was for one of her cute little friends from school. She was so excited from picking out his birthday gift to the awesome train hat that they had for her to wear on which she had to wear her princess flowers of course! :)
Savannah had so much fun playing the games, coloring, and eating a small piece of chocolate cake, (her favorite!)
After the party, we hurried home to head off on a little trip to Idaho to visit family and for one of Court's cousins fair well for going on a mission for our church. I was going to take picture on our trip but, I just forgot. But, I do have these two! LOL

Mother's Day, From The Point Of View of a Mother With Special Needs Children
Tomorrow is Mother's Day. It is usually a sad and hard day for me. It is a time of the year that I am reminded of all of the reasons that I am not a good or, "perfect" mother. It is very hard and even depressing sometimes that I can't have healthy children. My love for my precious children is unmeasurable, and I wouldn't change them for the world but, I feel like it is I that did this to them and that everything that they go through is my fault. I know that in reality that it isn't my fault but as a mother it is always in the back of my mind that I am never doing enough and that my best is never good enough for Savannah and Xander.
For mothers, one of the most meaningful gifts on mother's Day are those priceless hand-crafted, crayon colored cards from your children. Three years ago, on Mother's Day I received a priceless and beautiful Mother's Day gift. I was able to bring home my sweet baby Xander home from the hospital after 15 days in the NICU. That was also the day that Savannah was able to meet her little brother for the first time. It was a day that I will never forget. This Mother's Day, I am challenging myself to think of and really notice all of the small blessings that my children and Heavenly Father have given me.
I know that I am so blessed because even without their words, I always know what they need, and when they are scared or hurting I can hold them in the safety of my arms. When I smile at them, they smile back warmly at me. A few times in these last few weeks Savannah, has looked at me with her beautiful blue eyes and said to me, "I love you mommy!" When I hold their small hands when we go on walks, I can feel their happiness in the swing of their hands and the skipping of their feet, as they try to keep up. I can hear the pride in Savannah's voice as she screams with her face beaming, that she did it, after she said she couldn't and I told her she could, and she did! Every day, as I see kids doing more, I am so overjoyed in the small successes that Savannah and Xander achieve. They are truly children of God. Nothing, could every give me more joy then watching my two little angles laughing and playing together. I am a very blessed mother.

Easter 2013
We spread out our Easter over a few days this year. But, it was just so much fun making family traditions because Savannah was so excited!
Doesn't Xander just look so cute in his egg dying shirt! LOL :) He didn't last too long. Crafts and stuff like that just aren't his thing. So, Savannah and i finished the eggs! Her favorite were the pink of course!
We had a fun little Easter Egg hunt with some friends of ours. The kids had so much fun! I had gotten sugar free jelly beans that a friend had told me about at Good Earth. Savannah and Xander gobbled them up like they thought that I would take them away or something. We also filled eggs up with coins, stickers and little toys. LOL After the kids had their dinner in Easter eggs. They loved it!
We had Easter dinner with our family Saturday night. Easter Sunday, We have church early and lucky for us Savannah and Xander don't know yet that the Easter bunny comes in the morning. The Easter bunny came after we got home from church, lunch, and daddy's meeting. lol
The kids Easter lunch
Finding their Easter baskets and eating their sugar free jelly beans right away.
It was such a beauitful day, we decided to go up into the canyon for a walk and then to the park to let the kids play.
