A friend told me about this really neat Polar Express thing that their family goes to every year around Christmas. It sounded like so much fun! Unfortunately, it was raining. But we didn't mind! We watched The Polar Express while we waited for our groups turn. Savannah was so excited to see her cousins! Then we got aboard the Polar Express!! There was Christmas music and lots of lights. We stopped at Santa's work shop and Savannah knew just she was going to ask Santa for when she sat on his lap! She desperately wanted princess castles and princesses! LOL :) All of the kids got little bells. Savannah just about never took hers off for the next week.
We got back on the train and the music had changed to my favorite Christmas song, Did You Know. It never fails to give me teary eyes. You could just feel the peacefulness as we drove past the nativity seen and boards and beauitful pictures that told the story of Jesus birth, the true meaning of Christmas. It was beautiful. After they had a place where you can donate to keep it running for next year and you could write notes on cards for missionaries for our church. It was really neat.
When we got home we had hot chocolate, popcorn and watched The Polar Express!!
