Love And Gratefulness

This is my adorable little princess pilgrim! Isn't she just so cute!! Her class made these at school. Savannah just loved her hat!
I just love Thanksgiving! We have been really trying to teach Savannah and Xander what Thanksgiving is about and being thankful for our many blessings. A lot of our family came for the holiday! Court's grandparents, his brother's family, and 2 of my brothers came!
I love this time of year and being around our family! I am just so grateful for them. They have been there for us through a lot and put up with all of our craziness :) Anytime I need someone to talk or cry  to, someone to watch the kids, being supportive and understanding in the things that we do and loving our children.  We are so very blessed to have them.

Yes, This is cheese. LOL. Court's grandparents put their cooler in the garage so Xander wouldn't get into it like  last time... But, he did what he does best and found a way. I caught him twice in the garage trying to stuff it into his mouth and this is all that is left. That boy!
Xander getting a talk from daddy, while we are all trying but failing not to laugh. :)

This is my cute mother-in-law!

This year Court smoked a turkey and a turkey breast. It took a very long time but is was so worth it! It was the best Thanksgiving turkey!
Savannah was pretty excited about tasting daddy's pie :) It's pretty hard to resist those big blue eyes of hers, plus she's a pro at begging. LOL  I am so grateful for my sweet husband. He truly is my rock. This year has been really hard for me and he has been amazing and so patient with me going through everything. He has been my shoulder to cry on, my best friend who just listens and accepts me for who I am and no matter how broken and crazy I feel, he has never left my side, he has loved me through it all and has held my hand every step of the way.  I just love him so much.

I am so grateful for my two little angels and that God entrusted them to me. They fill my heart with love and joy. I love those little moments when they show that they love each other, like when Xander isn't with us and Savannah will start to cry because Xander is supposed to be right there, or when Xander gets so happy to see Savannah when she gets home from school. I love to see them share because it is a big deal for them, or when Savannah tries to help Xander. It just melts my heart, because I know that they will always be there for each other. I am so grateful for their cute little quirks and beauitful smiles that bright up my day. They are my world and they are my heroes!

The kids are so grateful for their fun Grandpa!

This is our thankful tree that the kids and I made this year! I just love this tradition and so do the kids! We have so much to be thankful this year.  I am also so grateful for our friends and neighbors. They have shown us what loving thy neighbor truly means and how to be Christlike. We are so touched by their friendship, love, and kindness. I am also so very grateful for Xander and Savannah's doctors and nurses. They have taken the time to know my children. I feel like they truly care for them and even though I am a little crazy and over protective they always take time to answer all of my questions and see how we are doing. I am so grateful to them.
Every day I feel so blessed and thankful for Savannah and Xander's teachers and therapist at school, church and at Kids On The Move. I couldn't do this without them. They have become my friends and they are such beauitful people. I learn so much from them and  they helped my children to grow. I look up to them and I know that Savannah and Xander just love them. I am so grateful to have them in our lives!

I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving!
