How To make a Pumpkin Pretty!

I got this idea from the Halloween issue Better Homes and Garden Special Interest Publications 2009. I've been wanting to do this for a couple of years now. They have so many ideas for decorating pumpkins!

I got the stickers at Hobby Lobby. You will need 4 of the big ones. They are in the scrap booking section. You can do what ever colors you want. You will want to use a hot glue gun to help them stay on your pumpkin. I just bought my pumpkin white. It will make a great Halloween centerpiece!!!

Horrible Experience

Savannah had her ultrasound and the VCUG test done yesterday morning. She does not have reflux!!! But, it was probally the most traumatizing day of her life. Savannah did not want to change into the gown they had for her. She did not want to lay on the table under the X ray machine. They had to do a catheter for the test. She was screaming the whole time. I had the I pad trying to distract her with Blues Clues, and another nurse trying to help me. Three nurses spent forever trying to get the cathiter in. I told them that she has had 2 surgeries on her uterus. They said that her anatomy is completely different. I looked down and there was blood. Poor Savannah was screaming I just about lost it too. I just kept holding her hands and, telling her that" it's ok," and, "they're almost done." It was so awful. They had to have the doctor come in and help. They finally got it. Then Savannah wouldn't go. I guess she was just so scared that she was holding it. They tried a lot of stuff to get her to go. The doctor had to come back in to help. She did eventually go. Savannah cried and screamed until they were done and, she had her yellow princess dress and her yellow princess boots on. She got a princess necklace for being so brave, and she was so glad to leave. It was the most awful experience ever! I hope she has forgotten about it because I've never seen her so scared. Next time she has to have a catheter I will make sure she is out. I don't ever want her to have to relive that again! I'm so glad it's over!

Savannah is doing really good and went back to school today! She does get tired after a bit, and zones out a lot. It is weird. She is not quite herself yet.She is only eating a meal or two a day. Over all she is very happy! I love my brave little Savannah!

23rd Birthday!

Today I am 23! I just thought it would be fun to share some pictures of me when I was little!Yes, this is me as a baby! I had lots of black hair! This picture is of my Grandpa Detton and me.

My oldest brother Michale, holding me.
My mom and me. (Savannah gets her red hair from my mom!)

My grandma Brown and me.

Doesn't Savannah look like me? I think so!

I'm the one on the left.

Kindergarten. Don't you just love the 80's bangs?! LOL
Bet you didn't know that I have 5 brothers!
I fought with my mom about his outfit. I was so embarrass! She made me wear a jean button up shirt and a vest!Very scary, I know! I got lucky with Savannah though, She doesn't care what I put her in as long as I tell her it is a princess skirt or a princess dress! Sorry Mom, I had my own opinion of what I wanted to wear. LOL!And you know how there is always that one brother or sister that with every picture they have to make some weird crazy face, well that was Grant. LOL!

Hair Makeover!

Before
After!!!

My very talented friend gave me a hair makeover today! I love it!!!!! You just have to ignore my scary face without make up!LOL!

Savannah's Update

Savannah's test came back positive for an infection. She is having an ultrasound of her kidneys and the VCUG test, which I think they have to put her under for done Monday morning.

She hasn't had a temperature in a while. I think the antibiotics are really helping! Thank you everyone, for your love and prayers.
