Visiting Savannah at School

Last week I got to go Savannah's class and help make ice cream, but best of all I got to see my little girl while she was at school! When I got there she acted as if I wasn't even there, which I'm kinda glad because I got to see Savannah how she is at school! It was so neat!I got to go see her in her her occupational therapy and meet all of her sweet teachers! Her O. T. gave me some really good ideas of things to work with her on this summer and I've been having fun trying them with Savannah! She is so smart!
Savannah made vanilla ice cream!

This is one of Savannah's awesome teacher's aids, and this cute little boy is Savannah's little friend who Savannah loves! Her O. T. teacher told me Savannah always waits for him and holds his hand when they leave O. T. She says, " Come on, Let's go!" They said she kinda baby's him. That's so cute! And yes, he is the boy who Savannah kissed. LOL It's so cute!

I had so much fun seeing Savannah at school! She loves it, and I'm so glad! Savannah has come so far this year. I can't believe it! She has amazing teachers! We have been so blessed! Savannah loves to learn! I am so proud of Savannah! I love my little girl!

Savannah's First Toddler Bed

Court finished building Savannah's very first toddler bed! It converts into a twin size bed later.
I'm so lucky to have such a talented husband!

Savannah loves her new bed that her daddy made just for her!!!

Savannah's Pillows

These are the pillows that will be going on Savannah's new bed, which Court is so colse to getting finished!!! I am so excited for Savannah to get her first bed,( that her father made for her!)
I am planning on making her a quilt, out of this same fabric soon to go on her bed!

I got my fabric at JoAnn's . I used 5 coordinating fabrics.
To make the pillow case I just measured a pillow case and made it that size.

This is such an easy and, cute throw pillow! I just rolled up a small towel and warped the fabric around it and lace on top of that then, tied the ends with two rubber bands and then strips of a coordinating fabric. It was so easy, and a no sew!

Costa Vida VisionWalk Benifit Day, Thank You!

The vision walk is only 4 weeks away! I am so excited! I want to thank everyone for coming to the Vision Walk Fundraising event at Costa Vida, and especially thank Costa Vida for sponsoring it! The benefit day at Costa Vida went wonderfully! They said, they had like 48 flyers turned in! Costa Vida donated 20% of FFB! We earned $218.00 for teams Blue Elephants and Two Little Reasons for the Foundation Fighting Blindness! Thank you everyone! We couldn't have done it without you! I also want to thank my sweet friend Amy, who also has two beautiful children with BBS for putting all of it together. You are amazing!
My hope is to get more people to be aware of these horrible degenerative eye diseases. Retinitis pigmentosa (RP)affects around 100,000 people in the U.S. RP is mainly caused by mutated genes inherited from one or both parents. Mutated genes give the wrong instructions to photoreceptor cells, telling them to make an incorrect protein, or too little or too much protein.
Thank you, thank you again! It means so much to our family for everyone's support!

Chalk Board Frames

I made these for Mother's Day gifts this year. They would be great Teacher gifts too!
First you need to paint the frame. I did two coats of paint. Let the paint dry. Then trace and cut out the scrapbook paper to fit the frame. Mod podge the paper to the frame. Let it dry.To make the flowers I cut out circles in different sizes, smashed them, then inked the edges. I used a glue gun to glue them on and then put a button on top.

You need:

Wood frame
Scrap book paper
mod podge
stamp ink
buttons
chalk board paint
