Giveaway Vintage Pink Lace Flower Clip

I am thinking of starting an Esty shop. This week I want to start some giveaways so people can see my products and give me some input on them! I'm so excited about this! Sorry, I'm not very good at using our new camera, so the picture is too bright and a little blurry. The flower looks a lot prettier in person!

Here's how to enter the giveaway for this vintage pink lace flower clip...

Leave a comment on this post , tell me who you would want it for, and why you think they would love it, and it can even wear it yourself! If anyone knows me you know that I am a flower wearing, headband, and hat loving girl!

The giveaway will close on Wednesday at 9PM! I will announce the winner then! Good luck!

Hooded towel

Materials

Towel
Hand towel
Coordinating fabric and thread

Fold hand towel over inside out, and pin.
Cut off tags.
Sew sides and, turn right side out.
Fold together middle of the towel like this.
Sew.
Sew hand towel to the towel.

Cut thick, long strips of fabric. I tried sewing them at a fold at first. Don't do that! Just twist and gather them into a circle and place on towel.
Sew squares to attach to the towel.
I made different sizes.
I thought it would be cute to place the flowers on the hood and the bottom of the towel but, you can put them where ever. Next time I think it would look even cuter to make the flowers bigger!

Mod Podge, Savannah's Stool

My husband built this stool for Savannah and I finally decorated it! All I used was paint, scrapbook paper, and mod podge! I'll put up a better picture of it soon! Sorry my pictures are kinda all over the place!

I sanded the stool before I painted.
I did two to three coats of paint.

I put three layers of mod podge on top of the paper.

Happy Valentine's Day! 2011

This was the love family's 2011 Valentine's Day! I got up early, after a long night of waking up every few hours to a screaming baby, and made blueberry scones! We love them!!! We went to Xander's follow up appointment for his tubes, and his ears look great!
Savannah, Xander and I made our Valentines for daddy!

Mommy tried to take some cute Valentine's Day pictures of Savannah and Xander.
Savannah didn't really like Xander sitting next to her. HeHe. He loves his big sister!

...and chewing on everything!
We made Valentine's sugar cookies!
And, Dipped and drizzled strawberries.
I made Cherry topped chicken, twice baked sweet potatoes, and summer squash for dinner.
This is what Xander looks like after he eats!
It's not pretty!
Savannah and Mommy ate our yummy cookies!!! Happy Valentine's Day!

Xander's Ear Tubes Surgery 02/10/2011

This morning Court was so sick he wasn't able to go with us for Xander's ear tubes surgery. He felt really bad about it and really wanted to be there for him and me, but he looked just awful.

Xander actually slept through the night last night, on the coach, but I just don't know what to do anymore. He fell asleep and we didn't want to wake him, so we just put pillows under the coach.

Xander was so tired. He slep most of the 30 minutes in the waiting room. We were called back, and he had to put on his cute little oversize blue teddy shirt. Savannah has two! LOL. The hardest thing for me is when they carry them away out of the room. I watched the top of Xander's head as the anesthesiologist walked out down the room and through the doors, as my heart dropped, and I held back the tears through watery eyes.

In one of the private waiting rooms, the same one Savannah had after her second tubes, adenoids, and tonsils surgery, I waited for about 15 minutes. Then, I heard Xander's cry down the hall. He did really good, they said. He was very tired, hungry, and fussy. I missed my little boy so much in that short amout of time. I love my sweet little boy.
