St. Patric's Day

I know this post is a little late but, a little St. Patric's Day catch up!!
We made green pancakes and green milk for breakfast! It took a little bit of persuading Savannah to have green circle pancakes and not pink heart pancakes like we had last time on Valentines Day!
A few days before we made these cute Leprechaun necklaces with my sister-in-law and their cousin! We found the idea on Pintrest, Here!

Happy St. Patric's Day!!

Glitter Play Dough

The other day we made glitter play dough with the girls! It turned out great!

5 cups flour
8 tablespoons cornstarch
A whole bunch of glitter, if desired
2 cups salt
3 tablespoons oil
4 cups boiling water
food coloring

Stir together flour, cornstarch and salt in a mixer. And throw in lots of glitter in here if you'd like.

Boil water and add oil and food coloring to it. Pour into flour mixture. Let the mixer kneed the dough until a ball forms.

Let the play dough cool before you package it! Don't forget the oil!!! I forgot it. The oil will keep it from drying out too fast.

Savannah thought it was so neat!

We rolled the play dough into balls and put them into baggies.

For two of the baggies, we cut the play dough into flowers. I'm going to be putting together a scenery fun bag for Savannah.

Felt Butterfly Game

This is a butterfly shape game for Savannah! I thought it would be a fun craft to do together! She loves butterflies! If your child loves cars, bugs, bunnies, or something different like that you can use that as your basic shape! It was very easy and I just used my felt that I just had lying around! It is a great way to teach your child colors and shapes and they will have so much fun!!!
Materials:
Felt
Paper
Shapes to trace for pattern or a cricket
1 pipe cleaner
embellishments( stickers, jewels, sparkly glue)

I cut out shapes using my cricket, pinned then to felt and started cutting!

Take a pipe cleaner and cut it in half. Twist it around a pencil to get it to twist.Glue it to the back of butterfly head. To make the butterfly I cut a sheet of felt in half and placed one on top of the other and just winged it to cut out the wings! I cut a different color of felt to make it's body.Hot glue the wings to the body.

Put the pieces in a baggie to keep them together!

Have fun!!!
